Was trying to work out what regs were for taking laptops on flight (not using just carrying) and found these regs from Thomas Cook. 'You are allowed one piece of hand baggage only which must not exceed 5kg (11lbs) in weight or 43 cm x 28 cm x 23 cm ( 17 x 11 x 9 inches) in size. Once piece of hand baggage includes handbags, laptops etc, andyone carrying any more than one ...

The FlyBe website is not ver clear on this one. I know you are allowed 1 piece of hand luggage upto 10Kg. Does this include a handbag? Or could I theoretically have a handluggage and a handbag ? (Its not for me, its the girlfriend ) Thanks Mike

It has been a very long time since I have been on an F100. From my old KLM UK days, I seem to recall that the overhead bins were in fact big enough to accommodate a standard 55x40x20 rollaboard (just about) but is that the case on the Helvetic-operated BHX-...

Before I start - I know that infants have to fly on your lap so am not talking about using the car seat as on plane seating and I also know that an infant car seat is bigger than the hand luggage dimensions. I was thinking the likelihood of being able to get away with "accidentally" leaving the car seat on the pushchair in it's travel system mode and getting the whole lot checked in at the ...

Hi all, Did a search on this all over the web and its still pretty inconclusive... What is the story with bringing ski boots as hand luggage on board Ryanair flights? I know its not meant to be their policy to allow it, but so long as your hand luggage is below the 10kg is it enforced? Flying Dublin to Milan... Any experiences on this? Cheers
hand luggage Haven't flown international for a few years and usually only take handluggage, don't need much. However what about these new laws. Flying from Oz to Malasia to Thailand and back again. What's the deal with liquids (Shampoo, blockout etc) and the ...

From experience we always stick to the rules - as whether or not they check dimensions/weight is very much a lottery in our experience. I have any food I might want to take in a carrier bag (fruit can be heavy in a carry on bag) & load up coat/jacket pockets with other bits & bobs (chargers & the like) to enure we're within the weight, sometimes I carry my filofax seperately ...

I'm sorry rwb47 but I have to disagree with what you have said . If you carry a liquid, even though it's alcohol and it's under 100ml and in a clear resealable bag then you can take them through security. I have done this in the past without any problems. Edited: 5:47 pm, today

We just went through their today coming home and they did not ask to take our two bottles of water away at all. They did not say a thing about my batteries or my lighter either. I even told the girl that i had these items and she said that it was okay with her and have a nice flight home.

I took some minatures in my hand luggage to Dublin last week. I bought 3 in the airport shop after I had been through X ray but I had one left on the way back and brought it through the airport in Dublin without any problems. Sue
