hope someone on the forum can help currently stripping a spare hyd pump for our sea vixen at brunty.the pump was recovered from a scrapped aircraft and had been left outside for a while,so was a bit siezed up.managed to strip it down but on parting the to main sections all the bits fell out onto the bench.managed to collect all parts together but i have no manuals etc on how it all goes back ...

Land & Sea plate that I acquired a while back and have no use for. All I know is that it runs up and down, doesnt have any external leaks and hasnt been on a boat in probably 6 yrs. One of the eng mounting studs is slightly bent but other than that its not in too bad of shape. Has duct tape residue over motor and needs cleaning up. Slide bearings look good and motor sounds good. Two part question here guys. 1st, when you are rebuilding a roller engine and using the original roller lifters do you need to keep them with the same rockers and in the same location that they came out of? ie. #1 cylinder intake and exhaust lifters going back into # 1 position. Next is whats the best way to clean the burnt oil and carbon from the pistons? thanks in advance.

Hey Guys I have a pad V bottom V-King with 225 promax, 20" mid and a sportmaster lower 1.87 gears. hyd 5.5" jack plate. the prop that came with is a cleaver modified to merc ET specs by Leading edge I was told, with progressive pitch to 26" I don't know if I really need alot of bow lift with another prop just good acceleration, strong mid punch, without sacrificing to much on top end. not a drag...
