Hi, Is it possible to connect Audio out (Audio-R, Audio-L) of an Audio Amplifier [MIC Amplifier] to the AV - Audio input (Audio-R, Audio-L) of the HV20/HV30 so that I can record voice with high clarity along with the video of the preacher. I am getting ready to buy an XH-A1 or HV20/HV30 or both and want to know if the HDV format is consist across both camera platforms. That is, if I record on the XH-A1 can I digitize on the HV20 or HV30 and visa versa. Also, while at it, is there a BIG difference between the HV20 and HV30? Plus, how are all three of these in Low Light? Thanks to all who respond and/or can help.

Just wondered what the difference is between the hv20/hv30? Is the video of the hv30 any better than the 20? Also, are there any HDD camers that match the video image quality of the Hv20?

Okay, so I want to take the video/audio on a VHS tape and get it on my computer. So I've hooked my VCR up to my Canon HV20 so that it outputs what the VCR is playing on the camera. That works. Then, I want to use Vegas capture to record what the camera is seeing from the VCR. This should work, but it gets hung up on the fact that there isn't a tape in the camera, so Vegas can't get a ...

Where would the best place to get insurance for the HV30/HV20? Would be nice if it's the kind of insurance where you can just send it off to them and they get it fixed instead of you doing it yourself.

I am trying to do a one step DVD with iDVD and my HV20 camera. When I click on the one step DVD it gives me the message to connect my camera an put it in VCR mode and insert a DVD and press OK. No I have the HV20 in Play mode and after I click on the OK put it goes back to the iDVD startup screen. I launch iMovie and it sees my HV20 no problem. Any ideas?...
