Projection is just not cutting it. I just got back from my friends house after a bunch of us were watching movies off his PS3 and he had some HDMI cables lying around unopened and I finally hooked them up for him on the PS3 and wow what a difference. It's like the graphics suddenly improve 10 fold in 1080p I always knew but never saw it first hand. Damn and I was supposed to get one on a good ...

I recently got a 22" HD TV for my room and I was wondering what the best settings would be to go for. Like for example, I don't have an HDMI cable so my 360 is connected with the YBRD (whatever you call it ) cable (the cable you get with the 360 when you buy it....). As far as I know the TV supports 720p, 1080p and 1080i, so which is the best for gaming? And what are the differences?? Sorry ...

I currently have 1 Bell expressvu Satellite dish with 2 HD receivers. I also have 2 SW44 multiswitches. The dish has only one "head" at this time. I have been told that i can set up the 3rd HD receiver without running another cable to the dish. Is this correct? Right now i have two splitters which split the 2 cables coming from the satellite into 4 and have 2 cables then to each multiswitch...

I hooked up my 360 to an hd tv but with the standard av cables (just y,w,r) and I can't exactly describe it but when I played it seemed like there was a slight lag and something was just off. Can playing without hd cables on an hdtv produce a lag or some sort of disadvantage or am I just having an off night?

Hi everyone, I used to work in the field of Compositing, 3d Animation and Special effects professionally, and although still dabble in it as a hobby I have recently (2 years ago) moved away from that path and I have a few questions in regards to a "good monitor" setup. What I will be using it (the display) for would be: -Watching HD Movies / Videos -Playing PS3/...

Hello, I just inherited a 32" HD LCD T.V., and I tried my Virtual Console on it. It was horrible! The frame rates were completly messed up. I found a few forums talking about the issue, but they were all dated '07. I'm on the verge of purchasing a 50" Panasonic Plasma T.V., but I want to know if there will still be issues with the Virtual Console games. On a related note, what if ...
