(sorry if this post comes up twice ...) I found this interesting JRCIGARS.com: GURKHA LEGEND - CHURCHILL BUNDLE CIGARS, From Honduras, 7.00 x 48, $99.95 (MSRP $400.00) I checked all over and haven't seen the gurkah legend ever in 7x48. I"m thinking Mongols for toughest ancient world soldiers. My choice for modern day soldiers would be the Gurkhas based on their reputation since haven't actually seen them. The Tercio de Extranajeros (Spanish Foreign Legion) which I have seen.

Posted by: Dynamic Echoes Posted by: Johnny Badfinger OH and the skull on the Helmet of one of the Spartans was a nice touch, you can just tell the bloke is a nut case... liked his beasty combat knife/machete. That type of knife is called a Kukri, it is used in real life by the Gurkhas. A knife used by gerkhins? It seems in Halo, the cucumbers cut you. ;) Only joking.

Quote: Are you referring to RAP canopies? Errr, what's an RAP canopy? The parachute referred to in my post as the British wartime one was the X-type, think. It wasn't steerable in any meaningful sense, but we were taught to slow the horizontal speed just before landing by heaving on the appropriate webs, and I suppose you could do the same to ...

Ha, now we are being cryptic, you thought I would miss that the anagram of Gurkhas was the signature dish of Gomersall, 'Hag Rusk'. Served daily at it's Michelin rated eatery, 'Pommes Fries aux Poisson.' (avec le grand saucisson) Chef Gordon's greatly admired sauisson and Roger the Vicar (available after matins)
