AR-15 Gunsmith in Houston Can anyone recommend an AR-15 gunsmith in Houston? I want to convert the fixed stock on my carbine to an M4 collapsible stock. I know it is not hard to do, but the tools I'd need to do it will probably cost more than a gunsmith.

Hello, Does anyone know of a gunsmith that has a good reputation working on BHP? I need the magazine disconnect removed and lighten of the hammer spring. I have a BHP MKIII in .40 S&W. It is very difficult to pull the slide back with the hammer down. It is not so bad with the hammer cocked. Trigger pull needs to be lightened a little but I think that could be corrected by ...

what machine is used the most. Mill or lathe. What is the minimum bed length that you recommend for the lathe. This would be for my fun shop, don't need commercial equipment. So if you have a recommendation for mills or lathes, please let me hear your thoughts. Thanks Herschell

I have a NEF 10 gauge that I use as my turkey gun. As long as I don't have to shoot it more than twice, I love everything about it. I want to add a ported choke and the barrel doesn't have any threads. I live in Marietta and looking for someone to do the work and suggest a choke that will tighten my spray. Cheers!

I'm looking to have a Mauser M-48 drilled, tapped, bases attached and existing scope and rings mounted and rifle re bore-sighted. Looking for a 'smith who will do an excellent job at a fair price. Anyone between Easton, Allentown, Bethlehem -- as far west as Cabelas and on the way to Ontelaunee Rod/Gun club will work. Thanks.

Building a new AR, need a custom fake suppressor. Hey all. I'm looking for a 1*2/28 fake suppressor that's around 12" in length and 1.25-1.85 inches in width. If I wanted one custom made, where would I start looking? Would an average gunsmith be able to make one from scratch?

I took it to a gunsmith; I have polished parts in the action; I have taken it apart and put it back together many times; I have worked the action with parts out trying to see the cause of the jamming. Nothing has made any difference. I am back to ...
