It seems as though my gorgeous princess has taken up a new hobby....Growling and hissing every time she doesnt like what we tell her. I can't help but laugh when she does it. I mean think about it...it is SO genius! How many times do you just want to look at someone and hiss?! Some days I know that I do : ) So anyone else's little one do this?

Hi all, While DS (7 months) nurses, he says, "MMMMM!!! MMMMMM!!!!" but in a guttural almost growling way. I do a breast compression sometimes to see if maybe he is just impatient and he swallows and swallows and then eventually goes back to "MMMMM"ing again. We nurse while lying down on our family bed. Usually our nursing session ends with his "MMM"ing and grunting while pushing off my ...

My dog is always growling at my daughter. Its not a mean growl, its a dominant growl. Like he is saying " this is my floor, my humans, my house etc." He has already snapped at her once because she tried to pick up his ball, and he didn't ' give permission.' I also know he will bite her at some point before she is 3 she is 1 now. My hubby and I got into a HUGE argument last night about this...

Maybe not growling, but he's doing this new throaty thing where he starts off in a squeal and lowers his voice until He sounds like "Great Aunt Matilda" from the Bronx that has smoked 3 packs a day for 50 years. My throat hurts for him. Lol, what's up with that?

Jack has been growling when I ask him to go in the crate . It seems to be worse when we've had him out for most of the day. I have been using NILIF with him a lot because he started to resource guard with his bone and Kong on his bed. Thankfully he stopped that, but today DH had him out all afternoon and he was an angel, then when he had to put him away he growled @ DH. Then tonight after I ...

I have been doing WW now for about 9 days and I am doing fine but I noticed last night while reading in bed my stomach started growling and my husband teased me about it. I had eaten my 21 pts so then what? and when i weighed myself this morning i had gained 4 oz. Which made me think, did i put myself into starvation mode? I have been exercising ...

We added a new fellow to our pack about three weeks ago. Simms is a 3 old male that was an A grade racer until he hurt his back. Simms joined our pack consisting of a 7 year old female that mostly keeps to herself, a 6 year old super sweet and submissive male and a four pound Chihuahua. Our original three get along great together. Simms started out doing fine with the rest of the hounds...

I finally got my 99 Si to and from work and I have a LOUD hum coming from what seems like the rear wheels. It's a constant noise regardless of gear or throttle and gets louder the faster I go and seems to get a tiny bit louder when I turn. 176,000 miles so its more than likely the wheel bearings right? The thing is a guy at a service shop said the bearings are really expensive because of an ...

I think Woody is grunting at me. It is definitely not growling. (I've never heard him growl.) But when we are on a walk, and something goes in his mouth (pine cone, leaf, twig) and I say drop it, he'll sometimes look at me with pouty eyes and grunt. He does drop it, though. Is he just unhappy that I am asking him to drop his "treasure"?

Are there any good training tips out there to encourage nice sharing of toys? When Bull has a toy, Swazye will bark at him annoying us and Bull. Bull will then rush towards Swayze growling which makes Swayze stop for a second, but then starts up again. When this happens we take the toy away from Bull, trying to reinforce that being growly with the toy means it's getting taken away. We ...

life, waiting, waiting, gum clenched pacifier, strangely it's stuck in my mind's eye. I'm the best customer of the smile with and caffeine, goodbye, NEXT. But love, true family huddles for its ever after. and stories of first sight, and happily in a storm, growling, fist gripping the hot bid adieu, and the plaque on the wall, the sugar of the in a blaze. It while a you're my best customer, and ...

I feel like i've been way too smug about Aidan starting school and although he has coped wonderfully (apart from bell fear/fixation), we are having a tricky couple of weeks. His angry/grumpy, very reactionary behaviour is back with accompanying growling (which he hasn't done for months). I asked last fri at school how he had been cos we had had a tough week at home and they agreed he was ...

My 2001 Insight airconditioning started growling at me. Before I went and let some dealer charge me for a new compressor, I decided to check the pressure. It was around 20psi. Consensus says they should be around 40psi, so I added a can of refrigerant (with oil and stop leak) to bring it up to 40 lbs. Now, it cycles on and off within seconds, like it's overfilled. Do I have any option ...

Do you consider firing off - lunging growling snapping ect. a training issue or just something you accept? I personally dont allow ANY aggression in any circumstances but know of alot of people that admire a "hot" dog . What do you think?
