Rayco RG-20 portable stump grinder. 20HP Kohler engine that runs very good, starts easily. New super-teeth, new belt. Small enough to go thru gates into back yards. EZ to work even those stumps next to a foundation or a fence. Local pickup in either Lumber Bridge (Fayetteville) NC or Petersburg VA can be arranged. $1200.00 OBO It has to go. I replaced it with a stumpgrinder behind...

> My brother-in-law and I went in together and bought a Hobart 4822 grinder for $350 a while back. It works awesome and is so heavy it takes two folks to move it around. I feel like we did pretty good on the grinder but I was wondering where I could find blades and other accessories for it? Would the tenderizers that fit other grinders work with the ...

I need to make dessert "using" my meat grinder this weekend. It's unclear how central my meat grinder has to be to the dessert making process, but it at least needs to be used in some meaningful way, as a meat grinder. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Does anyone know what the attachment are with a #5 guide series grinder? The instructions are pretty poor and this is my first grinder. I am trying to stuff sausage and want to hook it up properly.
Has anyone on here ever clamped a piece of wood in the shape of a half moon to their platen on the belt grinder to get a hollow grind? I know it's not the best way to go about it but I'm gonna try because I don't have a real grinder yet. I read that if you do this, you cover the rounded part of the wood with graphite covered cork for good belt sliding. Just wondering if anyone on here has tried ...

I am selling a Sanford Desktop Surface Grinder with cast iron stand. This is the smallest industrial strength surface grinder you can get. Bought it 2 years ago and never used it. $750. You would need to pick it up in NJ. It is about 200 pounds and I wouldn;t begin to know how to ship it. jrgannon@yahoo.com Email for pics if you are serious about buying.

Not your typical grinder question I've been told that as your chain gets to the end of it's life, to use the next smaller file on it since the tooth is smaller towards the end. How many of you folk with grinders use the .325 wheel on their .375 chains later on? Ian ...

Back in the late 50's thru mid early 70's my father had a chainsaw dealership. Sold mostly Homelite but also handled a few minor brands of the time. I remember him setting at the grinder sharpening chains in the evenings after supper. I remember customers paid "a dime a inch" ( bar length ) for sharpening. I thought the grinder had been stolen or thrown away as I had not seen it for years. My...

For almond flour ? I'm having trouble locating some. I was thinking of getting some almonds at Costco and putting them through the coffee grinder. Does that work well? And are the almonds from Costco OK?

For the price @$500, would you guys consider this to be a good machine for basic grinding of blades? Anyone ever use one? I was wanting to get a Grizzly 2x72, but they don't ship to Canada. I was looking at the Sears 2x42, but they don't ship to Canada either and they only sell them in the US locations. I don't really want a big grinder that is going to cost big bucks. I don't need variable speed...
