On our course at this time of year the trees drop their leaves. Our greenskeeper collects the leaves with a vacuum collection system which also shreds the leaves. He deposits the collected shredded leaves in mounds in various areas of the course where he spreads the shredded leaves to mulch the area. A ball comes to rest against one of these mounds. http://highlandccgroundsdept.blogspot.com/ A private club in London has a blog for their head greenskeeper and staff. This is a great way for a club to communicate the goings on, instead of areas under repair just popping up randomly. It really gives you an appreciation for how hard these folks work as well! More clubs should do this to be perfectly honest.
