I have an Insprion 9300. About a year ago i replaced the graphic card..it was a refurbished nvidia card from dell. well its going bad again. Can i get a diff kind of graphic card than the one i have now? like a new one and if so where can i find one and what kind? I really could use any info on this. i recently got a NVIDIA GEFORCE 9500GT 1GB PCI-EX 1024MB GRAPHICS CARD upon fitting it the monitor stayed blank as though the card was not working also there is a small wire in the box does this have to be fitted if so where does it go as you can tell i am not very good at this sort of thing any help would be greatly appreciate cheers :

I've got an HP m9400t and I'd like to upgrade the graphics card. I've got a 2.4 ghz quad core, 4 gb ram and a 9500gs card. I was thinking about upgrading to a 9800gt, will this cause problems? What kind of connector does this graphics card use? I'd like to avoid fiddling with the power supply as well, if at all possible. I use an HP 2207h monitor. Thanks, Frank

Hi, I built myself a new pc over 3 weeks ago now and its still not working. The computer turns on OK, the motherboard post's OK and it loads the OS "i'm running xp home 32bit".
