1st Gen Explorer Tranny Options I've searched endlessly and am pretty sure nobody has done it, but thought I'd post just to make sure. Is there any way to adapter a 4 or 5 speed tranny with a granny first gear (T-18, T-19, NV4500, ZF, etc...) to the 4.0 OHV? Will any of those except a 4.0 bell housing, or has anyone made an adapter...

this is a 1978 ford f1500 custom 4x4 has the 4 speed with granny 205 transfer 33 inch boggers 33x12.50x15 they are a lil bbald in the center but stilol have side lugs lol rescued this thing from a farm and been puttin work in it since. 2 kc's on the roll bar everything under the hood is new (electrical wise) carb has been rebuilt put 13 miles on it since carried it to a mud bog last night...
