Hello, another drugs question for you all from me this eve .... On my last cycle I don't think I felt the Gonal F doing anything to my ovaries until at least day 5 but I'm on day 2 now and am having some twinges.... So I was thinking, do the drugs work quicker on subsequent cycles compared to the first one? any ideas would be welcome ... I promise no more drugs questions tonight...

my gonal F is in the box in my fridge--in trying to take things one day at a time i haven't opened it yet and am going to wait til i start stims tuesday. but i'm curious how big the needle is--is it the same size as lupron? i'm hoping so.....and is it subcutaneous like lupron too? so far lupron isn't bad so i can deal with it if it is....if it's different i'll be nervous :) thanks! ...

I have been stimming since Monday with Gonal-f but my nurse just called and said that she is ordering Menopur for me and I should get it tomorrow and need to do it in addition to the Gonal-f. I also had 112.5 dosage all the way through. Produced 9 juicy eggs and all fertilised (I'm now 14 weeks preggers). A low dosage is a good thing - less side effects! If it's too low they'll just increase it. It's better to have 6-12 good eggs than 25 follies of various sizes and a risk of OHSS. Don't worry about it and good luck with this cycle! Rosie x...

Hi Redamber would just like to say that everyone is different alot of people have no side affects what so ever so honestly dont go worrying as it is normal not to have side affects believe me you are one of the lucky ones lol i feel fine now was only the first day i felt crap . hope this helps as like i say the vast majority of people have no affects at all so honest no need for you to...

It worked for me. My RE likes it better than Braville. I think they probably are both good...but Gonal-F worked for me on my first IVF.
