My fiance and I have a 6 month old Goldendoodle. About once a week or every two weeks for the past month or so we will sometimes be woken up by the sound of him gagging/wheezing/choking. It always scares me and I think he is choking on something but when I get up to check he is usually just waking up from his sleep. Does anyone know what this could be? Could it just be him ...

Many of you helped in recent weeks when I mentioned that we were thinking of adopting a dog for our dd's. I thought I update you! We searched the shelters & petfinder & craigslist. We found a lady who wanted to find a home for her 2 yr. old goldendoodle (golden retriever/poodle). She was working long hours & the dog spent much of his time alone. ...

Glad to hear you're enjoying your new dog. I currently have two schnauzers and I've been saying to my DH (or preparing him) that the next dog is going to be a Goldendoodle. I need a good walking dog, a dog that doesn't shed. Unfortunately, I'd have to enlarge the doggy door for one of these! LOL

You have all given us a lot to think about it. Thank you so much for taking the time to post such valuable information. I fully realize that a most of the responsibility of the dog will fall on DH and myself-that's just the way it is with kids. Luckily DH grew up with dogs and has realistic expectations unlike me who is fearing the unknown since I've never been through this. Right now, DH is ...

Good evening all!! Thanks to all for the very warm welcome! I must (proudly) say that today has been a pretty good day after getting of a rocky start. Home from work and since I did not wo this morning ( only because I got up at 4:30 to iron) I did a cardio/strength do it yourself routine for 30 minutes. Dinner is ready to go on the stove, so I am ...
