Evening all, Don't shout at me, I know there are 167,787 threads on 'cheap' dentists in Newry and abroad. What I wanted to ask was....I don't need any complex work on my gnashers, no nuclear fusion or the like, I just need a few fillings (around 4) and a couple of extractions. Is there still a significant saving to be made on such 'basic' work by going abroad, or do those of you with ...

Hi there, In February 2010, I'm moving to Australia for 1-2 years. I've got about £17k in savings, and would like to know what I should do with it whilst I'm away? It's likely that I'll be outside of the UK for the entire 2010/11 tax year if that makes a difference? Thanks!

Does anybody know which rules apply to going abroad, friend previously filled in IB50 and awarded benefit of the higher rate which he thought was incapacity benefit, but it would seem that the benefit he is paid is income support, so which rules apply to going abroad. Incapacity benefit rule 28 weeks abroad, income support rule 4 weeks abroad?

While researching some I came across this: InTouch SmartCards: International SIM Card for France with GPRS and BlackBerry Data It seems to be perfect and ...

I currently have a T-Mobile G2 in the UK and am going over to Dublin for the weekend. I don't intend to use the phone - but need to take it so i'm contactable. Is there a way I can turn off the internet so I don't get charged while i'm over there. I'm sorry if it's a really simple question and I sound like an iiot - but I honestly haven't a clue! Cheers

Being an expat myself I suggest you set up a high interest account in the UK before you leave, as you'll not be able to do this in the majority of banks when you're a non resident. Also the UK interest rates are better in the UK than the offshore accounts at the moment (it's not always been that way). http://moneyfacts.co.uk/ is a good comparison site. As there's no sign of interest rate ...

If you know that there are 167,000 odd threads on dental treatment abroad, then you will be familiar with our charter that discourages threads on relative pricing. Thread locked.
