Hi Ladies! DS is a year old today. I am still EP'g for him but don't quite make enough milk to meet his needs. I supplement with a bottle or 2 of formula every couple of days. Now that he's a year, I'd like to stop buying formula and transition him to either cow's milk or goat's milk for those days that I don't have enough MM for him. I'm just not sure which direction I want to go in. I...

My son stopped breastfeeding cold turkey about 1 1/2 weeks ago. He refused. I thought I would go with it and let him wean so i didnt pump for about 2 days. Then at the last minute decided that I would like to keep my supply up in case he wanted to nurse again or at least i could pump and store cause he will drink it outta a sippy. Long story short I lost my milk supply. It its completly gone...

I have just started giving my Baby Nanny Care as recommended by a friend and have been told by another friend that it has been taken 'off the shelves' because of some harm it can do to Babies digestion. BUT I bought it in a local Health food store!!!! Can you shed some light on this - PLEASE??

Can anyone please tell me if Goats milk is available from supermarkets in playa blanca - I have a 14 mnth old baby who is allergic to cows milk, will I be able to buy it readily in the resort? Many thanks
Anyone give their kid goat's milk that had a cow's milk allergy? The allergy guy said goat's milk is similar to cow's milk so she might not be able to have it. I want her on it though cause she won't take soy milk. And when I give her it how much should I try first and what do I look for to see if she's allergic or not?

OK, I sourced some goats milk this weekend but I could only find evaporated goats milk, which is like carnation evaporated milk. I am looking towards using this instead of cows milk to make up DS BMilk bottles at daycare as I am normally down about an ounce per bottle each day and supplement this with cows milk previously. Anyway, how do you think I should use this goats milk, b.c it is is ...

I had read in one thread, I think it may have been the one on adrenal issues, that goats milk is good? Does anyone use it? In what way is it good? I'm considering trying it but unsure of the benefits.

good on Carlos Mari! It was shocking that only one supermarket in Playa Blanca stocked it and that was only for 1 week, afterwhich they couldn´t confirm when they´d get any! however the goat owners in Femes have it in abudance and for those that like it you can even buy goats cheese directly from them, quite nice to support them directly as well, they were very friendly.

If we could do milk, I think I would probably do goat's milk though it is more folate deficient than cows milk, so make sure your kiddo has extra sources of that in their diet. I would go organic and pasteurized, and like Dr. Sears info on it. My DH could never tolerate milk and DD tested positive for milk allergy, but if she ever outgrows it I will probably go the goat milk route.
