Every year we change up our Christmas feast and make something we've never had before. This year my husband found this description for an Italian dish: Gnocchi al Cinghiale Fresh house-made potato gnocchi with slowly braised wild boar and a sweet and sour tomato ragu. I'm sure I can find loads of gnocchi recipes to work with, and I've got the wild boar on order. What I'm wondering is what "...

I picked up some gnocchi yarn today along with a pattern for a scarf. I'm having difficulty with these instructions....It states to "Cast on 6 stitches. Cast on one stitch for each length of binder between proms. Knit every row. You will knit two stitches for every length of binder between poms." Ok...so when I'm casting on I actually have to cast on more than six stitches like it says in the ...

I don't have a pass down recipe, but was wondering if anyone has a favorite recipe and sauce ideas? I have seen ratios of 3/1/1 and 1/1/1 flour/ricotta/egg.. some with just parm/ some with parsley/parm/nutmeg additives. Anyone ever add potato, maybe 1/1/1/1? The last one I did , I think had a little potato . I dont think i want a heavy sauce maybe just butter and cheese, or other ideas....

A standard dish in at my place. Sage brown butter with your choice of firm, salty cheese and pancetta if you want some pork goodness. Every time I try a different sauce, I wish I had made this. I don't usually follow a recipe any more for making them but I started off with Batali's recipe for the gnocchi.

I found two new vegetarian recipes this year that were very good. I actually found them on Zaar and rated both of them five stars - a potato gnocchi recipe and a mushroom/cheese ravioli recipe. Did anyone else find any really good recipes this year?

I see the points of those who know me. During the last Tx I actually had to turn off the radio for a few choice moments for sake of not sending away from our club a guy that may be a potential member. This started off when someone said that "I like my gnocchi smooth and wet". So I am not imagining this whole thing as some think I am. Beieve me when I say I am not a prude, my favorite tv...
