I wanted to know if doing stop & go exercise and another exercise (where you sitl on edge of chair and put like a small towel on your "guy" and "flex/contract muscle" to point your "guy" up against towel and hold position for 5 sec, stop for 10 sec, and repeat for 5 sets ) are safe for the body and for your "guy" for someone who is around 19-20?

I personally don't like elasticated girths on fat/round horses as there is a massive risk of overtightening leading to bruised, or even ruptured, muscles. My favourite type of girth is a plain padded leather one, shaped behind the legs. My saddles all fasten on dressage girths now (2 x dressage saddles and a close contact GP) but I always used a standard Jeffries girth.
