Hi I was wondering if someone could help me. I need to upgrade the network cards on some Dell Vostro 200's. They have a compact case so a standard PCI card will not fit. I need a mini gigabit ethernet card for the Vostro 200 that fits in a compact case. Can anyone help?

Hi, I have the driver listed above on my dell vostro. I re-installed windows recently due to some issues. Anyhow, I found out that when I deleted the windows.old file (because Iave my files backed up onto a WD 250Gb), it also deleted the driver for it (?). I'm not entirely sure how its gone but it is. Apparently now I have no "networking devices" under my software explorer at all, in fact that ...

All that happens is a message pops up saying "Enabling..." followed a few seconds later by the message "Connection failed" So far the only steps ive tried is to restart my computer and ...

I tired to order a Stuxio XPS 16 with a core i7 with after adding to my cart I noticed that the specs stated the ethernet card was 10/100. The specs on the XPS 16 page say 10/100/1000. Called Dell sales, and they stated that a core i7 was not available with gigabit ethernet, Asked tech support (via chat) and they say it is, Who's right?

This is one of the reasons why my next laptop won't be a Dell. I sent an email to their customer service asking if their home laptops come with Gb ethernet. Their response, which is what I thought, was "None of our home laptops have Gb ethernet" Just about every other brand does, many netbooks excluded. I'm not bashing Dell, I've been very happy with their products over the past 10 years,...

Well, on the surface, it appears the NIC may have died. If you have verified the cable and the port on your hub as working, that's what you're left with.
