It seems that GE Energy Financial Services is lending $50 Million to Magma Nusarantara, the country's largest geothermal energy producer. Could this have anything to do with GE trying to use Indonesia's resources by putting money in right places, so GE can better lobby the government of Indonesia? Something seems strange about this. What do you think?

Geothermal hasn't hit the lame-stream media outlets as the next "big thing" in alternative energy yet. I think it's as simple as exposure to the masses. One thing I am noticing is that there isn't a lot of selling of this stock either. The trade volume is really close (buy vs. sell) so I don't expect big swings in price to take place. Hi guys, We had our geothermal unit installed in 2006 and at the time it was done by a company that I think was just starting out with the whole geo thing. The unit was installed and hooked up in such a way that the water just drains out into a machine dug pond outside and then just sits there and absorbs into the ground.
