I just finished a new blog entry about an artist who donated $85,000 of her art to charity. I'm completely blown away by this sort of kindness, with no expectation of getting anything in return. itsjustlight.com/?p=672 With the holidays getting closer and closer, charity and generosity are obviously worthy topics to write about(hint hint for anyone looking for a topic to blog about)....

I started volunteering for several organizations starting around the 5th grade. I spent every single Saturday from 5th - 11th grade shoveling poop and walking dogs at the Humane Society. Not a fun job but the pay off for me was 1. I was helping the animals and 2. I ...

Yet we find ourselves wallowing in disappointment when our ample generosity is not met with the expected results. The answer to this quandary lies in ...

From www.wowowow.com ........... Barbra Streisand also goes to the top of our list for her unheralded generosity. This from a musician who stayed with her for the entire last tour. "She was a complete doll to everyone. First-class accommodations for us. A party given for all the musicians at the end. She could not have been sweeter or more professional. As opposed to *&^% who was very ...

2 Corinthians 8:1-7 The Celebration Of Giving Perhaps not politically correct, nonetheless, Paul celebrates the giving record of others. He tells the Corinthians what the Macedonians have done. He dares reveal supposed confidences and talks about their generosity. Further, he breaks the money taboo and tells those in Corinth to give more. He compliments their ...

Let's Give A Little Jesus This Christmas... Let's give a little Jesus, a thoughtful word or deed, an act of generosity for someone who's in need. Let's give a little Jesus, to everyone we meet... the salesclerk or the server, the person on the street. Let's give a little Jesus, that's what really counts... not what's spent or bought, for whom,...
