I'm gay and, in this country, I don't think that I have any greater or lesser rights than anyone else in the UK. Unlike other countries such as America and Uganda, I feel completely equal and protected by the law as I imagine a middle-aged straight woman would. Does anyone disagree? Societies are becoming more accepting of homosexuality; this had lead to civil partnerships, adoption and basically the same rights as heterosexual people. And even though we as Muslims differ on many religious practises we are unanimous in condemning this particular type of behaviour. i want to knew is it ok to have a bad opinion bout gay or lesbian people. i believe if a women is with a women or a guy is with a guy then they will go straight to hell i feel kinda guilty for it but that is what the bible says. should i feel guilty for believing what i believe?

I'm on my iPod so I can't get a link (hopefully one of you can Google the title then copy/paste), but apparently some gay people protested Avatar because there were no homosexual characters in it. They did this by standing up during the movie, sitting in the lobby and not leaving, and best of all... Buying movie tickets and not attending the movie. Discuss. I'll start it...

I really enjoyed the movie but was disappointed to see no gay Judeo-Uzbekistani people involved. It saddens me to think that Hollywood would overlook such a group of people. I can only hope that we are moving into a more tolerant and diverse world so that we will get filmmakers with enough heart to include gay Judeo-Uzbekistani people in their movies.

by definition, religion is circular reasoning. my dad used to say his religion was the only right religion. How did he know this? His religious book told him so. everyone thinks their religion is right and everyone else is wrong lol. IMO religion is man's way of dealing with the fear of the ultimate unknown (death.)
