Well now that Christmas is done we are on a down hill slide and all I can think about is spring. Are any of you big gardeners? I was thinking about what I am going to do in my pots this year. I know what I am doing in the front beds and on the side beds but can't make a decision about my pots. Come on May get here!!!!!! Juls

Happy New Year from Ohio. I'm tired of parties and people and food and drink. Looking forward to a few days of nothing with just my family, the TV, football, a good book and my new Wii Fit. Sam Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right. Oprah Winfrey

I really like the Dwarf Burning Bush , especially during Autumn, when the leaves turn from green to firey red. Place several plants side-by-side to form a great low-mid height hedge, which normally requires no annual maintenance in the Upstate area. Other nice bushes/shrubs include the Camellia , Gardenia , Rhododendron (needs shade), Azalea , Hydrangea , Tea Olive , and Boxwood ....

The weather is good considering other places, but I am still cold :-( Don't you just love it when you get those great gift certificates to buy more plants! Have fun shopping for new seeds/plant/bulbs, etc.

I'll have to agree with jim6b & connie somewhat...lol. I'll just take some new hips (not the whole body). My surgery I was going to have this month will no longer work. If this Fosamax i'm on now doesn't postpone the hip replacement I now have to have, I may not be making it to the Spring swap. :-\
