I just purchased a home with a Genie garage door opener. The seller lived alone and thus only needed one opener for her vehicle. Between my fiancee and I we have three vehicles we use on a regular basis, and we would like to use the garage as our main access to the house. How difficult/expensive is it to get two additional wireless openers programmed for our unit?

We thought our garage door opener died so we put in a new one yesterday. Come to find out it was the spring on the door that was broken. So now I have an extra opener, I was thinking I could rig Bucky up to it somehow. Any ideas? Has anyone used an old opener to move props?

I've got the above unit in pieces, and need to know which wires go on which terminals. There are seven reminals on the back..... There are two pushbutton wires....three receiver wires....and two electric eye wires..... If anyone could pass on the information I'd be grateful..... Occasionally, the light will not shut off on my Genie garage door opener. The door does work with both the remote and wired wall switch. The light does come on any time you operate the door opener. Shortly after the door is closed, the light should go off. I hear the relay click, and sometimes the light goes out. Other times, I wait, I hear the relay click, but the light stays on....

Hi, I have a Chamberlain Liftmaster 1040-6 that blew the thermistor on the circuit board due to a broken lamp socket that caused a short. Does someone have an idea where I could obtain one of those thingies? Thanks, Ed

Well, this is actually my project for tonight. I got a small plastic box yesterday so I think tonight I will be moving the location to the grill area. Its fine where it is but it could be better. Quack, The keypads on the outside of the house are wireless. If it wasn't, you wouldn't want to put it outside. John
