Just want to give a shout-out to whoever came up with that tiny little thing. Huge timesaver, especially for a GTD fan such as yours truly. I've always found Evernote a bit clunky for GTD (although I love it for everything else!). Can't think of a simpler way to send myself reminders, particularly when in the car - the PARKED car, obviously So on that note, I thought I'd ask -- what ...

Hey all, there really aren't many good resources out there that provide an objective list and comparison of all the available GTD tools, so I'm working with a few key people to put that together in a way that will allow new and veteran GTDers alike quickly and easily identify what apps or tools meet their needs. And yes, we'll be keeping it current. So my question for everybody here is ...

Anyone have any good ideas on how to implement GTD in ACT!? I'm using ACT! now exclusively and am stumped on how to do it. ACT! Activities are kind of simple and designed to go with Contacts, not Projects, so if there's a great way to do it, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks!

I started reading about GTD and implementing it 4 months ago. I have 2 GTD systems with tickler file, projects, reference material,...: one at work and one at home. Very enthousiastic about GTD but the problem I have is: I capture everything, but emptying my in-basket (at home I have 4 places with in-basket papers: kitchen, bathroom, ...) takes a lot of time: about an hour a day. I think ...

I am new to GTD, new to Mac and not really IT savvy. Any advice how to get started? (My hope is that finding the right GTD software would help me get some order into my stuff, since I am also in the process of starting my own business) So far, my experience is: Mac: 1 day of exploring GTD: listened to 3/4 of the audio book Do you think it would work for me to just download THL ...

Hi everyone! I've just moved to Linux (Lenny stable) and started digitalizing my paper based GTD system. At present I am using Evolution, which I managed to GTDalize not badly, but was wondering if there is some specific GTD software you folks would recommend. Thank you!

As I have vacation time over the holidays (and once again find myself randomly tweaking my GTD system) I ponder the critical role of discipline and GTD, and discipline and life in general. I put a post up over here . This led me to think about how important discipline is when utilizing GTD. You need discipline to capture. You need discipline to conduct your weekly review. You need ...

1) What to tell to colleagues who see your organization system and laugh a little with it? They ask if I'm not 'overorganised' but I think you can't be too organized. In the past I had a lot of trouble finding papers that were somewhere on my desk, and now it is much better. That's what I tell them then. I think colleagues will experience that I become more efficient, and then will no longer ...

Hey guys-- I'm heading into year 2ish of GTD and I've been thinking about what a "year in review" process might look like. Meaning, is there a system-wide checklist/walk through for what that might look like (akin to the weekly review walkthrough) or is the short answer -- start at the very top and work your way back down? I'm sure I could just do that....but I also wonder if there isn't a...

Help! I work a full-time job and have successfully mastered using GTD there. I also started a small business from home this year. When I'm at home, there are so many different things I could do at any particular time, I can make calls, work on the computer, create my jewelry (that is my business), do bookkeeping, send mail, etc. I feel overwhelmed knowing how to choose what to do next since I...
