there was a rumor on here earlier that it was coming out for the PS3 and the PC. WAS THAT TRUE? i personally think it kills GTA4 and my best friend has a PS3 and wants it pretty bad. i googled and couldnt find anything on it so maybe you guys no something that i dont. if its true i suggest you all pick it up (even though GTA4 was a dissappointment). if its not true then i apologize. your missing...

Recently my 360 has had trouble loading the city from GTA4 and the episodes. First it started with small things like benches not appearing until I hit them, and gradually it got bigger and bigger and now entire buildings aren't loading even why I pass by them. Textures also load incredibly slow, sometimes they aren't even there at all. Sometimes the entire skyline just disappears or only floating...

I wouldn't mind trying out the GTA4 I've seen for cheap. However it is not cheap enough to buy if I cannot actually play it. I already know that the voices are in English, but it's the text I'm worried about. Ta.

and I'm playing Lost and the Damned right now, and man, is this game super grainy. It's been a long time since I played GTA4, and don't remember if that was as grainy too. Is this just the style for the game, or were they all like this?

Ok, firstly this isn't really an important thread, just an inquiry about my GTA4 steam download. My GTA 4 downloaded to around 45-50% and i was all "cool stuff, i'l just go to sleep now and be ready to play late tomorrow" wake up to find it at 2% and now it says "updating" so i'm thinking ok, it must be finished and now downloading updates (there's no way it could have finished...

GTA4 - Mission skipping I've been trying to play GTA4 lately... but it seems to me that sometimes the missions start to fast foward and you cannot complete them. eg. The mission requires you to bring rowan somewhere, but when you reach the point it doesn't do anything...

I downloaded GTA4 yesterday. I am in Germany. I set the language of the game to english in my Steam Client because I dont like bad localization. When I start GTA4 now it starts in German. After the first appearance of the title logo it outputs a message "Changing Language. Wait..." (in German). It just hangs there forever without any sign of progress. Is this supposed to last for hours? ...

In GTA4, how do you get Roman to give you the free taxi service? Once I got it on the 1st lift I gave to someone, but forgot to save. This time, I already gave 5 lifts but didn't get it yet. How can I get it, I really need it! Thanks

ok so I bought grand theft auto 4 from steam, and I tried to play it got an error that said d3d error, restarted my computer it didnt show up again, then Im trying to get the lag issue fixed with the game, and so I set compatibility to xp service pack 2, and it worked, and I also disabled high dpi settings on the shortcut, and run in 256 colors. I unchecked those and I made it run normally...

I am pissed!! I paid 50$ for GTA 4 and now it's worthless. Let me explain my problem.. I have installed a 1TB drive to my computer and I format my primary drive (1tb drive is for storage). Ok so i log into windows live fine but asoon as it try to make a multiplayer game or join one it gives me an error - It seems you have lost connection to windows live press enter to return to game but i have not lost connection since i can still use home and speak to friends when its saying this i'm not sure whats going on im using the steam version.
