What's the difference between a glock 17 and glock 34? I'm looking at getting a glock 9mm and i'm wondering what the difference is between the glock 17 and glock 34.
Im going to purchase a tac light for my G17 and am having a hard time deciding. Ive narrowed it down to the Insight XTI Procyon or the Streamlight TLR-1 or TLR-2. If you have had any experience with these lights please let me know what you think of them. I like that the XTI Procyon doesnt stick out past the frame as much as the TLR's, but I like that the TLR-1 is a little bit ...

I want to know from people who actually have shot both and can tell me if there is any significant difference in accuracy. Especially at 25+ yrds. I would really like to hear numbers like reduced group by 1in not just yes its better. I installed all of the G34 parts on my G17 so the only real difference between the two is the length of the barrel and the sight radius. I've been thinking about...

Shooting low left with your first Glock is very common and is entirely due to trigger pull moving the gun. Trigger with your pad and after the first shot, only release the trigger to the reset click. It is much easier to keep on point of aim with the reduced trigger stroke. This is a great gun, still my fav.

My Glock 17 is actually a 17L (6" barrel). The 17L was the predecessor to the G34. I believe the 17L's barrel is slightly longer then the G34 barrel. That establishes my credentials. The 17L does shoot a bit more accurately the when I install the standard 17 slide (longer sight radius is proably most the difference, but maybe the 17 slide just isn't as tight). The standard 17 does handle a ...

Quote: How tough is the tenifer coating on the slides of the glocks? The Tenifer finish on a Glock is a form of ferretic notrocarburizing. It is 0.05 millimeters thick and produces a 64 Rockwell C (diamond cone) hardness rating via a 500 °C nitride bath. The final matte, non-glare finish meets or exceeds stainless steel ...

When i get around to putting on a silencer it will be on a standard lenght threaded barrel. The 10" barrel was just a thought to get a bit more velocity and reach from what would in essence be a short barreld rifle.
