Ok sooo I was fondeling a G23 today at the local shop, guy tells me that THIS is the glock to get. You can use the 9mm barrel in it, AND a .357sig barrel in it 1 gun easily turns into 3 guns. So I got to thinking (I know scary) can the G19 support the 40 cal lbarrel AND the .357sig barrel as well? If they 23 and 19 are basically the same size and the 23 can do 40's 9's and .357 sigs ...

i had some failure to fire problems this afternoon with a police buyback G23, using WWB. there were light primer strikes on the rounds that failed to fire, deep primer strikes on other rounds, and all primer strikes seemed to be off-center, especially the light ones. I guess the title says it all. Would you trade a g23 w/ns for a sp2022 or a P250 in a 40 S&W. I like Glocks, I own G17 for IDPA shoots and i have the G23 that is my daily carry and I shoot well. I just traded a shotgun for a P6 and now I have the Sig bug again (I have had a P220, P250, and a P229R) Your input would be much appreciated.

Thinking about the possibility of trading my G23 + cash for a AR-15 or another Glock of some kind. G23 has about 1500 rounds through it and is in excellent condition, G23 has always been carried in a Bianchi Leather Holster so no holster wear on the slide. PM me with your trade offer. Ended up going back today to grab the RIA 1911. Also stopped by another local shop & stole a police trade-in G23. I plan to redo the G23's frame in FDE & slide in black Duracoat. Here's a pic of my 3 newest toys.

I have G23 3rd gen. Looking for info on how to converse it to shoot 9mm just for range use only , I know I'd need 9mm barrel and mag. The question is can I use longer barrel (G17) on it or do I have to stay with same lenght?. Any recommendation on which brand to stay and which not?.
