Hey guys - I have a question - "Classic G.I. Joe #6" (Marvel reprints) is on TOW's list of books to be released 12/09/2009. I am really looking forward to this volume. Not only am I a huge fan of Marvel's G.I. Joe comics from the '80's, but this release marks the first time these issues (#51-#60) have been reprinted. However, even though TOW lists the release as today, the Diamond ...

It looks like every retailer is well stocked with G.I. Joe RoC product for the holiday season. I've been hearing a lot of good about the Pit Commando figure, and with the Poppies coming up in the next month I thought I should check him out. Turns out, folks are right - he rocks! I also have a guest review from Jeff Parker up tonight. He's looking at the new Resident Evil 5 Chris Redfield ...

This isn't a response to G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra , rather the direction I hope they will take a sequel. This path could put the franchise in the direction everyone want's it to go and could still end up a real good franchise. After watching it for a second time, this time at home, I noticed some great explanations for all the 'inaccuracies.' For all intensive purposes, this WAS ...

In the beginning of the G.I. Joe movie there was a convoy scene. All forces are replaced by UNSC special forces. The Cargo is carried within an Elephant(the heavier armed Halo Wars varient), with enough crew to man the macineguns and defensive positions, and three Mongooses. Escorting the Elephant are two LRV Warthog's and Two LAAG Gauss Warthog. In ...

Film critics and web whingers be damned, I liked this movie. I watched it on DVD the other day and thought it was great, one of the funnest mega B-grade films I've seen in a while. I like to check out reviews and web opinion after I watch a film, and it was very mixed, probably leaning more to the negative. A lot of people hated it. I think the haters can be divided into two camps. ...

Yes, that is not saying much, but for all its cheesy effects and bad dialogue, G.I.Joe at least remembers to HAVE FUN. Point for point, G.I. Joe is closer in tone and characterization to the original source material than ROTF.

Man, good thing I didn't pay in the theater for this puppy. G.I. Joe...what a crappy movie. I mean, you would think the company bankrolling it would be more proactive. Why would you allow something this bad to come out and tarnish the rep. Yuck. Damn, Hollywood really does suck ass these days.
