The other night I was watching "Halloween" (John Carpenter's) when I noticed something very interesting, for myself at least: That scene, arround 30 minutes of the movie, where Michael Myers is watching Laurie walking down the street and we can only see part of his shoulder and neck is so similar to the one where Paul is watching Anna seeking for the dog, which also happens arround the 30 minutes...

I've been thinking about video games and wondering why there is such a small amount of funny, whimsical games. I like having a lot of comedy in a video game, and most games out there are just way too serious. Yeah, you have a funny joke in Gears of War every now and then from the campaign, or the bizarre antics of South Park, but there could be so much more. Team Fortress 2 is a good example ...

These finally came in the mail today. I loved Funny Games and have been wanting the DVD for a while now, so I'm happy I finally have it. It's one of the few movies that really made me feel uncomfortable in the theater. I haven't seen Campfire Tales in years, so it will be like watching a whole new movie. I'm excited for these. I'm very happy Haneke's the white ribbon won the palm d' orr as he's an AMAZING director. The remake of Funny Games was one of the best films of 2008 and deserved more recognition. Hope this palm d' orr win does loads for Haneke's career as he is basically a magnificant, if not perfect, director. vanity

I really would want some more funny games, but I think that overall games should not be so serious and dramatic. Comedy is just as important, and these days the stories all seem to intense and serious! Bioshock 2, L4D2, Orange Box, Batman: AA, Borderlands, Assassin's Creed 2, DJ Hero, Mass Effect 2... so anyone got extra $$$?

it could have been an awesome movie if it didn't choke on it's own pretentiousness. the idea was good, the movie was interesting...and then there was that bullshit rewind sequence... completely ruined the movie by giving me ******** up flashbacks of the time i wasted watching run lola run.
