I'm a FTM, and this must be one of those things that my girlfriends didn't want to tell me! I'm scheduled for my ultrasound on January 15th and can't wait! However, they gave me the little information slip and it says to drink 8 ounces of water every 15 minutes before the appointment time. Then they said it would probably take 45 minutes to complete the ultrasound! How am I ever going to make...

not that it will be a challenge for me cuz i swear i have the tiniest bladder in the world and have since i was a little girl. No joke all through high school if i drank anything i had to pee like every 10 minutes and my friends teased me about being pregnant. Anyways, i am just curious as to why our bladders have to be full for the big ultrasound? Didn't get a chance to ask my dr because we had...

I had my 20 week sono a few weeks ago. I got a call from the sono tech that they needed to do a follow up sono because they didn't get good measurments of her heart (she was transverse). Anyways Long story short I will be 23 weeks when I get my follow-up sono done but when the tech called she didn't specify if I needed a full bladder or not. Usually she does. Does anybody know when you can get ...

I know this might sound silly, but as ive never had one done i thought id ask. Seeing as im only 14 weeks should i have a full bladder for the amnio. The consultant will be using the scan to guide the needle through my tummy. So was wondering if i should have full bladder like you do with 12 week scan to see bubs more clearly. Thanks for the help.

I remember this from last pregnancy, I nearly peed my pants and had to relieve my self a little before the appointment. This time I am not going to take it so seriously. I had an US at my 12 week appointment because they couldn't find my babys heart beat this time, I had just gone to the bathroom and was completley empty. My nurse told be they would do a vaginal US, but they didn't even on ...
