(I accidentally erased original post) The kind of thing you hang on the garage wall, or lean over against the fence to get the "What the...???!! " reaction from folks. Good Bar Art candidate. Seat will rust, lettering shown will be added, entire piece will be "aged" with some Walnut Stain.

HYPOTHETICALLY- Lets say I engaged the 4wd on a 231 T-case, then removed the rear drive shaft. Would I be able to have a fwd jeep? How does a 231 act when the rear output spins freely?

Why are American car makers producing or coming out with so many Front Wheel Drive vehicles now unless they are muscle cars like the Mustang, Camaro or the Challenger? Regards, Darryl Â

I bought that to junk around in for 100 dollars, but my friend mess up some how and ran into a fence, and now the axle up front on the driver side came out. the rings that hold the cv joint in place are missing so i tried, i (forgot what you call them) but their the bigger silver type rings that you adjust with a screw driver and they held but the axle came out again. I don't drive aggressively, but I also have little time to work on my jeep and it is a daily driver. I was waiting on a flange for my 8.8 and time and so I removed my rear driveshaft (242) and daily drove it for a couple of weeks. It drove fine, but when I went back to rear wheel drive the t-case went out on my first wheeling trip and I switched to a 231.
