IIRC, she gave up searching for a reasonable paying job

I just moved from Anchorage to Denver and I'm looking for people to ski with. People that might want more than just cross XC skiing but not necessarily looking to ski bigger lines. My Tele setup (Karhu 10th mt.; Voile cables) is very light and I have not had quite enough Avy training so I'm not skiing much above treeline or in other types of hazardous terrain (no beacon or probe either). This may...

Hi JeepForum! I recently bought a 1999 Jeep Wrangler. It's completely stock with a 4 cylinder engine and the stock AT tires. I've taken it up in the hills around Boulder and Nederland and found a few cool places, but its mostly just boring, doublewide forest roads or trails that I wouldn't dare try. Is there any place around the Boulder area that offers terrain I can learn to 4wheel on?...

I'm starting in on a race car project and would like to get the chassis acid dipped. I was wondering if anyone here knows of any places that can do that? Thanks, Dave

A little singletrack goodness from our recent past. Snow-free riding is about done at these elevations here in Colorado, but I hope this vid will provide a little stoke in the long winter months ahead. South Saint Vrain from subliminalshiver on Vimeo .

These threads are helpful. Couldn't remember the name of the Turn of the Century until I stumbled on the yelp threads. What was the name of the restaurant on top of the Cherry Creek Tattered Cover (I think that used to be a Neustetter's department store back in the 70's)?

A buddy of mine and I have wanted to do some coyote hunting for quite some time now, so we are looking for places to go hunt them in the front range. Seeing that there are several members on this forum from CO, I figured I would ask over here. I live in Denver and am willing to drive as far as an hour or so. Does anyone know of any places that we could get some hunting in? Anyone in ...

Hi, guys, long time no post (over a year, I think). I'm a Maggie SRT owner up in Fort Collins that does photography on the side. I've got a cute young model interested in doing a shoot and I'd like to line up a tricked out black 300 to shoot in a metro (Denver) setting with the model. Anyone interested in being in a shoot? You'll get copies of the pics that work for free. Coby 970-481-...

I have a monocog flight 29er that I am running as my primary bike this season. Living on the CO front range, I ride a lot of loose over hardpack. I like tough climbs and technical anything. I was looking into the idea of a high volume tire in the front to get rid of some of the 'jackhammer' of the rigid. I've considered the Weirwolf but I've read some posts that claim the 2.55 is an exaggeration....

Here's another suggestion. What about a new Giant Yukon FX. It's $750, so an extra $250 than your buget, but it's new and the thing works. We used them as rentals this summer, and had no issues with them at all. Full warranty and when you upgrade in a few years, you'll get $300-400 or so back for selling it. Giant is really the only bike company I've seen do an actual full suspension bike...

WHAT A GREAT IDEA! For those of us who commute locally by bike - or bike-and-bus - there are NO regional transportation connections that I have discovered between the cities in Northern Colorado (i.e. Greeley, Windsor, etc), nor are there any public transportation connections to the south - to include Denver. To get to Castle Rock recently, I had to take an Airport Shuttle to DIA and ...

Lynn, thanks for the update!! I missed the first part, so congrats on the range! Even more, good for you for getting the paper preserving your price on the stainless piece. Best of both worlds, I think. I hope you'll have dozens of happy years cooking on your new range.

So will the gate just be open? How does it work? Is it like a formal range with range officers, etc? I haven't been up there since the whole area was posted and sheriff started yelling at us for shooting in that area.

plllog, thank you for your post. I am very good with my money and I have never missed paying off a special zero percent offer and try to pay them off one month early to not miss the deadline. Usually I end up buying an appliance I need badly (i.e., 5 years ago both my washer and dryer broke and the repair person said they were old and beyond repair and 2.5 years ago my heater/air conditioner/...
