Hi, I am looking for a lock to my 1200mm wide hall double door, 50/50 split, similar to a french door. Preferaby, I'd like to use a lock which allows me to open either door. Normally, the right-hand door has a traditional lock and lever, with the left-hand door held in place with shoot bolts top and bottom. This means to open the left-hand door, you have to open the right-hand door ...

We are bumping out the back of the house to enlarge our family room and will be getting a new door. We'd like a French door with built-in blinds and also the three-bolt action like in the Anderson door we have now. What brand did you select and how is it holding up? Thanks, Sue

Having had both and soo wanting another french door, but not being able to rationalize the higher price & the loss of space on a counter depth this time, I went on GW and asked opinions on why they liked one over the other. Then I decided to make a list and realized that I was only wanted the FD for 2 reasons and even one of the reasons has some negatives. lol Having the regular depth SAmsung 25....

Would anyone _in London Ontario_ be interested in buying mine for $50 Canadian? It is out of it's protective coating but has not seen a router let alone a piece of wood. http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.a...=1,46168,46 178 The instructions are there too. I bought it awhile ago for a project that will never come to be, so it must go.

Our french door fridge works for us (we bought the largest capacity one we could afford and recessed it back into the wall). We have a large freezer in the basement, too, so we use the bottom freezer mostly for the stuff that gets used frequently, like the frozen blueberries that get added to yogurt and cereal daily. Turkeys and pizzas and stuff we stock up on go in the big Upright freezer (I'm ...

The thing I see about the Samsungs is that some of them, at least, require 4" clearance behind the fridge, which pretty much kills the counter depth benefit. (a 28" deep fridge is close to counter depth when you consider that includes the door, which MUST stick out in order to have room to move, unless you get an integrated fridge.)

Not sure what brand our door is, but we got it at Lowes they appear to sell a lot of them. Ours also has the grates in the window. We installed it this summer and really like it.
