Can anyone tell me how to go about finding out all the information the state has about me? I'd just be interested to know. What information am i entitled to for free and what do i have to pay for? I know very little about this and am hoping i have posted this in the correct forum. Thanks

I am dismayed to find that the BBC is trying to hide the costs, presumably because it will embarrass BBC Management who do not want this information in the public domain. I intend to appeal. The ...

This past year in the media has shown the arrogance of the elite and government in saying one thing and doing whatever they want to sell US out. I had the thought the technology that the taxpayers paid to develop that' is to good for us to have is suppressed by the government and was probably given away to private corporations before the Freedom of Information Act was passed. How will ...

Hello all Well having had a very informative chat with the CSA today, I have been advised to apply for disclosure on my case under FOI as well as DPI. The reason being is they can refuse to disclose under one thing by using the other So I know I can email a FOI request and it has to be back to me in 20 days but does anyone have the email address? Thanks all

Just seen this on WhatDoTheyKnow. Someone has made a request to Bristol University to find out about their new parking "fine" scheme, which is run by Liberty Parking Services. After the guy went for an appeal, they responded with this: http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/reques...20Contract. pdf Look carefully at the sections that have been blanked out. Mr Hodder then informed the ...

If you were to lay off the capslock and take a Valium, your arguments about Obama mouthbreathers might be more persuasive. It's not a simple issue. Presidents do have the right to keep some records secret. But they also have the legal obligation to preserve information (eg, emails). On the other hand, the entry logs are a peculiar class of information that offers a limited window onto...

Hi Kim, I'd appreciate information also. I am at a stage where I'm completely confused by everything to do with CSA and loosing the will. I'm wondering if receiving my DP CSA records will help put everything into order, as it all seems like a great big jumbled mess at the moment.
