the part where the Soviets have to storm through the German defenses from shore has a very (I mean very) horrible and choppy framerate. although the mission lasts about 5 minutes but still i would have enjoyed a consistent framerate.

For some reason, on this game only, every input starts lagging whenever the framerate drops. Is there something that could be causing this, or is it just made that badly?

I have a Sun GDM-FW9010 (basically a Sony) 24+" widescreen crt. My copy of Borderlands suffered some nasty framerate issues from time to time but the new DLC is BRUTAL. The framerate drops to about 1 frame every three to four seconds. It only happens when I first enter a new area of a map and encounter zombies. Without enemies, everything runs fine. But as soon as the zombies spawn, it's game over. ...without me being mocked due to my username. But, lemme try this anyway. How do people know what framerate a game has? I really can't tell a difference if a game is at 30fps or at 60fps. So, what's the secret to this? Because it sparks a lot of debate between fanboys and trolls all throughout the boards on this site and other gaming sites across the web.

Ive been playing the beta a lot lately. It's a brilliant idea, and it does work. But how the hell am I supposed to enjoy the game when it runs at such a terrible framerate? It just makes it so awkward and boring. Not to mention it looks like an Xbox1 game. Flame away im sure.

Has anyone else played this and noticed these issues?I played the first level on Xbox 360 and it has a terrible framerate, probably around 10-15fps. Seems like Bethesda/Rebellion didn't care to properly playtest the game, or did and just chose not to fix its problems.

I'm not really sure what is going on here...the game itself played flawlessly at the highest settings until at the end of the last treaty quest for me at denerim. Seems to be more and more people getting the game for PC. Which is a great thing. But it also seems more and more people don't know to set the Framerate option to "FIXED". By default it is set to Variable (for some retarded reason). Setting it to FIXED allows the game to run at the correct speed instead of slowing down (for both players) when your computer can't keep up.

I am developing a 2D game for the iPhone and iPod Touch using OpenGL ES 1.1. Everything works ok on the iPhone, iPhone 3G and all iPod Touch models. The game usually renders the scenes at ~60 FPS. Hi, I about two months back I picked up a gtx 285 it's an Evga 2GB Version. My cpu is a C2D e6850 OC'ed to 3.2 Gz. My graphics card is Oced to 710/1617/1300. In a word: It's laggy! And the lag doesn't seem to be affected much by detail level! Yet when I CTRL-ALT-DEL, only one core on my dual-core processor is being used. How do I make the game use both? Or, what should I upgrade (to)? (keep in mind that my dad doesn't want me to downgrade to a more powerful but single-core processor)
