There is no real possibility of describing the sensations of a drug addict; but at this moment, less than an hour after he had emerged from its influence, there may be some chance of his frame of mind being understandable . Feth certainly understood, but apparently chose not to dwell on that point.--from ICE WORLD by Hal Clement Does the ' being understandable ' here means 'can be ...

I love playing live, but online just seems so boring to me. When ever I try to play a session of 2-3 hours I get bored by 20 minutes in since its just "clicking buttons". How do you guys get into the groove of playing it for extended periods of time?

I know there are a number of varying mental concepts relevant to kendo - mushin, fudoshin, heijoshin, etc. I'm wondering though, after an event where I found that more often than not, while competing, my head seemed full of cotton and slow to thought, what I can do to prevent this. So what do you do to ensure you're in top mental condition for shiai, shinsa, or keiko?

It did for me earlier. I was as usual aiming to keep to K/D around no worse than level or -1, I was at -3 when I went to get sniper rifle, and then a Colonel Grade 2 (the highest rank on my team), decided they would betray me for the sniper rifle. They used all their assault rifle ammo, and ended up betraying me using pistol. I was so annoyed at this, I ended up giving up on my K/D for that game...

See, that's the scary part... all fires have to burn alive, and if we run out of time and you don't burn so much, good night and good riddance (until you're in a better frame of mind). I don't think that's the way music is supposed to be. You put your guts out there, you should get some form of recognition. And don't give up so soon, some of you guys.

these days, I believe by the time they reach out for "bipartisanship" and kiss a lot of Republican ass for 60 votes, that money will be funneled to Wall Street again. I really have little hope these days. Their past performance this year doesn't give me any enthusiasm that they will actually do something meaningful.
