I'm pretty sure I have a stress fracture in my foot right now. I've had one before and it feels the same and I ran in a 5K last weekend that I'm sure did it. I was researching online stress fractures and on more than one website, I saw that women with amonerhea or irregular periods are more at risk for stress or any type of bone fractures. The low estrogen weakens the bones or something. ...

I recently had a bone scan and found in addition to losing 2.5" of height and having osteoporosis, they found two compression fractures. Doctor told me to go on as normal and he would see me again at next Remicade, but his nurse said they would put me on a new medication for osteo but I could wait the 7 more ...

I'm about 99% sure I have stress fractures in both tibia. It's definitely not shin splints. It's not excruciating, but it definitely aches a bit when I run. Could something drastic happen if I run on it tomorrow? This would be the last time I would run on it for a while, so I was hoping to get 1 more run in.

My sister probably (the radiologists are disagreeing) has stress fractures in both feet. I think that lack of physical activity is going to be tough for her (would be for me too). I am about to send her Yoga for Stress Relief and Pure Tranquility, both of which I think could be done with little impact on the feet. Any other ideas? She likes Pilates and attends a studio in her town a ...
