So, DH and I had Chinese last night with my brother and his girlfriend. There were 6 cookies, and I randomly chose one. Here was my fortune: "May you have a good appetite" LMFFAO! Obviously I do, or I wouldn't be hogging on Chinese!

Last night we went to P.F. Chang's for dinner. My fortune cookie said that I would meet someone new next week for my benefit. So I told my DH that we were going to have this baby next week! Woo-Hoo!!! Now I just have to wait to see if my "fortune" is correct...

( Ok, I don't really believe in fortune cookies and horoscopes. They all seem to be the same over and over again. But, yesterday my hubby went to a restaurant and he got the following: "A small lucky package is on its way to you soon..." I am not getting my hopes up but it is something that just keeps the hope alive! Traci **edited to fix my mistake. ,)

So... we had Thai food for lunch today... and, of course, the meal came with a Fortune Cookie. Anyway... before opening it, said to my crew, "I dedicate this fortune to Tiger Woods." And this was what I found: "In silence man can most readily preserve his integrity." (struck me as funny)

Most fortune cookies are hilarious, some are bizarre, but every now and then you get a gem. Here's one I got the other day: "The strength of a nation derives from the integrity of the home".

( Holy crap - I think that qualifies as a Festivus Miracle in the Making! My fortunes are never so prolific. In fact, my last cookie had no fortune. What do you suppose that means? Crossing everything that's humanly possible! Hugs, ,)

You did get a gem, John. My SO and I were out to dinner several years ago. At the end of the meal we opened our fortune cookies and my fortune read, "Stop searching forever, happiness is just next to you." I have it taped to my monitor as a reminder.
