My sister has a 2000 model Ford Escape 4x4 4d automatic. She said it cugs when driving it down the road and the SES light flashes. I was thinking a loose plug wire.

Hi, I have a 2001 Ford escape 2.0 manual transmission 67,000 miles. I was driving on the freeway and the temp gauge went above the H(out of the normal gauge range) i pulled over and it didn't seem very hot (i could touch it) but i let it rest anyway. back on the road 1 min later it went to below the C. 3 min later a noise from my engine and loss of power and power steering. Well if one has a hybrid and it's not used regularly, the battery will kakk sooner than it would in a taxi. The one in our HCHII at work seems a bit weak after two years of occasional to light use.
