Are the transatlantic airlines 1.Government departments ? 2.Private Companies ? 3.For customers ? When an incident like the "Burn a Plane" one happens, these were the solutions: Punish the passengers by treating everyone like an international terrorist. My wife aged 70 (4ft 11in) small build, white, frail, is ...

So the 2012 Olympics are less than 3 years away now, wouldn't it be nice if the opening or closing ceremony was to have a fly past involving Concorde like they did for the Queen's Golden Jubilee? There are a number of people who are willing to pay for the few remaining Concordes that could be made airworthy again, but British Airways is having non of it. Maybe it could help boost the image of ...

Quote: Here's the wing commander... an injured swallow chick getting some special help to learn to fly again. Sasso, rescued seven months ago by staff at the Ramat Gan Animal Hospital in Israel, has been put in a harness so he can flap his wings. It does make him look like one of those old model Spitfires that used to hang in boysÂ’ bedrooms. But when heÂ’s fully recovered he...

The belief is there and he's raring to go but Sisso the injured swift will have to wait just a little longer before he becomes truly airborne. For being strapped in a special harness which is suspended from the ceiling by a length of string is as good as it gets. Seven months ago Sisso damaged his right wing and although he has been gradually nursed back to health ...

Forgive me if this is slightly off topic but is there any chance that Concorde will ever fly again (whether commercially or for fun)? I live in Liverpool and when I was young Concorde would fly over the city every year for the Grand National (it was almost as big a talking point as the steeplechase itself). Seems such a shame that technology has taken a step backwards... You all seem to be ...

Continental offers the only NY-Oslo non stop. Full flight. Smaller plane, B757. Economy seats ok. Continental lounge at EWR is tired and staff are bored. However, young hard working, crew on the plane. On time, good announcements but didn't overdo it. Food just ok, but this is unusual these days for US airlines. Excellent entertainment system. Long wait for bags in Oslo. All said, this is...

PBI-EWR on Christmas Day. I'm a Silver Elite on Continental and get upgrades about 35-40% of the time - was going to fly the day after Xmas but chose to fly the day of instead. Almost empty airport and planes, got the complimentary upgrade on a 757-200. FAs courteous and personable. Food tolerable at best, but just a short two hour hop so wasn't expecting much. Champagne was nice. ...

So they think a few low fly-overs with their black helicopters will keep me from exposing the truth, huh? I fear no evil. So I suggest you all download this pic ASAP before they delete it again. That way we will all have proof! Here it is - do it now!
