Has anyone here let their children have the swine flu vaccination yet? My three younger ones are all due to have it as they have asthma. However, I had mine at work on Thursday and TBH it's been really awful (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif ) My arm is really swollen and sooo painful, my arm pit and collar bone on that side are painful too. Dear Doctor, hello. My question is whether or not the transplant recipients should get vaccinated twice Twice-a-day because their immune system is suppressed.  It is said that between the two vaccinations there should be at least a period of three weeks.. Thank you very much.

So many members gave me a hard time about not wanting to vaccinate my kid for H1N1 becuase of the vaccination being rushed to market.... well, as of this morning, 800,000 of the vaccinations have been recalled.  Of course, the CDC says that there is nothing to worry about.... huh.

Thanks! Just checked wiht the nurse today and she said approx a yr (same as seasonal) but they are hoping that by that time, enough people would have had the vaccination that the threat would have dropped severley and swine flu should hopefully vanish so no need to have a 2nd time..... i'm still no wiser as to wether to have it or not though!
