two weeks after i had new tires installed, i got a FLAT TIRE WARNING in RED on the computer screen (info above steering wheel) and in writing on the i screen. 1 tire had 4 psi lower pressure than the other side and was corrected. i thought that the warning would disappear on its own but it did not. the manual said open the vehicle setting on the i screen and choose Flat Tire Monitor and ...

So I discovered tonight one of my rear tires was flat as a pancake. Replacing it wasn't too much of a chore, and it's now sitting in the bed of my truck, but it still looks completely smushed. Anyone know if that means the sidewall's been weakened or compromised and I'll need a new one? Or can the screw in the tread simply be removed and patched up?

Although I would rather ommit this potential shortfall, I might as well address the issue before I put myself in a tight situation. In short, should I be worried about changing a flat with lowered suspension? Also, does anyone use a different spare jack other than the POS provided by Audi?

I read a mountain bike article that suggested with a flat and no replacement tube, we could fill the tire with leaves and ride out. It did say that we would need a lot of leaves. Something like this ?

...replace all four tires? Help! I got a flat tire yesterday that can't be repaired as the damage is on the side of the tire. I'm being told that since it's an all wheel drive, it's imperative that all four tires wear exactly the same and if I don't replace all 4, it will negatively affect my drive train and could ruin my transmission. I've also been told that I can get away with just ...

Remove all Advertisements I don't normally carry a spare tire since I ride close to home, however, I should know how to fix a flat if I ride elsewhere in the future. So, how does one remove a front or rear wheel out on the trail when you only have a side stand?

I posted a week or two ago about getting a CAI for my car, but now it's looking like I'm going to need new tires (and to ease up a bit on our rock road...). I was sizing up a new CAI, but I'm unhappy with my stock rims (stained, etc) and if I'm going to have to buy new tires, I'd rather just go out and get all new rims too. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about cars, and less about ...

i had to get a new tube before i had rim locks put on. I got lucky because the stem didn't rip all the way so it held air until I got back home. no the s doesn't come stock with rim locks. i wish it did though.
