Hey all, New to Flash AS3, I'm trying to create five instances of a MovieClip, each of which uses the buttonMode property, and the addEventListener() method to respond to a MouseEvent.CLICK that will respond to a function that generates a random number, by using the Math.random() function. I have done this and I can only get the first deck to work, the other 4 decks will not function,...

I have a all in one card reader. My problem is that I have never used the Flash memory slot. I find that it fits OK when inserted, but I am worried that if I push the card all the way home in the slot I will not be able to get it out again. IE, once its in it is flush to the fascia of the reader, there seems no way to pull it out again. Do flash readers "AUTO EJECT" once they have ...

I have a panasonic hdc-hs9 and record to a sd flash card which makes .m2ts files. I bought a canon hf s10 and put the flash card in it and it records in .mts files. I wasn't impressed by the canon so I put the card in my panasonic and formated it. Now my panasonic only writes .mts files to the card(I have been affraid to use it's hard drive in recording) and transfers them to the computer. I...

What would be the minimum recommended speed for a Compact Flash card for the EOS 7D? What CF cards are you using with your 7D, and how they behave? Thanx, Toni

I bought this from a friend last year and sent it back to Leaf River to get checked out. When I got it back I never even put it out b/c I was nervous it would get stolen on public land. It is in great shape and as I said it was just serviced by Leaf River last year. I'm looking for $190 or I'd be willing to trade for a Garmin Legend HCx, Summit HC, Vista HCx or a GPSMAP 60Cx. Or a ...

Hi all, hope you are all alright. I have been using the original R4 card on my daughters DS lite for years and even though people slated it I found it perfect for what I needed it for. Only problem is now new games are coming out which the R4 are unable to load. I am looking for a card no frills like the R4, purley want it for playing my daughters games from, back ups of ...

I have been looking at the Jessops Christmas catalogue. On page 47 there is a guide to what you can store on various sizes of flash media. And it has confused me no end. It says that an 8GB memory card can hold 440 photos plus 1.4 hours of video. Whereas an 8GB flash drive can store 3800 music files plus 5700 photos plus 7200 office files plus 18 hours of video. Maybe I have ...

Sigh. It's amazing how many people post to threads without actually reading them. The 999 is a limitation of the screen, not the camera. IT ONLY HAS THREE DIGITS. Period. That doesn't mean you can't store more than this, it just means you can only display 999 remaining. There is no upper limit in GB that a card can be (well... it's a practical limit - the really big cards ...

I wouldn't go lower than 30M/sec. I'm shooting with a 15M/s card, and I'm telling you, it feels a bit slugish. Remember in raw you can only shoot 15 pictures in a row then it's going to be blinking for may be 1 whole minute where it's saving to the card. If you payed so much for the camera I recommend putting at least a decent card in. Myself I'm planning on getting a: - 16GB 90M/sec card in....
