Reading the FAA Powered Parachute Flying Handbook, it states on page 11-4 that a flare should be applied in a Single 1-2-3 motion flaring smoothly in a systematic motion. WHAT EXACTLY DOES THAT MEAN,, TO YOU. WANTING TO KNOW PHYSICALLY WHAT THEY ARE COMMENTING ON , HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS BEFORE BUT NOT GIVEN AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHAT IT MEANS. THANKS TO ALL.

I have engine flaring when auto goes from 1st to 2nd and 3rd gears on my 2003 BA Fairmont. I have just bought the car recently and had transmission serviced where mechanic found some filings in auto pan. The car has done 137000 klm's. What is the best solution for this problem?

After many postponements, the cessation of gas flaring in the country was fixed for December 2010. The National Assembly was resolute about it and there was high hope that at last the hot, smoky flares would be put out. Click here to view the article.

We will make a fair commitment on ending gas flaring in the next few days before the international community, and we will deliver this time around. Climate change is a wake-up call. We will do what we were supposed to have done. Climate change dynamics offer tremendous opportunities in that direction. - Chief Ojo Maduekwe, Minister of Foreign Affairs, representing President Yar'Adua at the UN ...

Somebody PLEASE tell me that flares happen when sick. This may have happened before but the bladder is more touchy this year. I have a bad cold and a worse sore throat and I am so hoping that is why the bladder feels somewhat like my sore throat.

My boat is now for sale. The hull is a 1981 15.5 foot long, 67" wide aluminum flat bottom, with mod-v bow. The bottom width on this beast is 42", but I find that due to the length, and side flaring, it is somewhat more stable than, say, a 1442. 2 people can easily stand on one side of this, without having trouble at all. The outboard is a 1975 Evinrude 40 tiller. Spring of 2008, I ...

My parents are coming down for New Year's. My mom has been having some trouble with her blood sugar, so her doctor has her on a low-carb diet (although, admittedly, it doesn't sound as though she's received a lot of guidance here). Because my IBS has been flaring lately, I'm pretty much on an all-white-carb diet at the moment (bread, potatoes), and I'm having trouble remembering what it was ...

Really flaring tonight - and all that's on TV is "paid programming"! Have been flaring from 10pm - acid stomach & irritated bladder, I've had a rescue instillation, my regular nighttime meds, a Darvocet, 4 TUMS, a piece of toast, heating pad, now whining. Mystery flare: Was it... ...too much cleaning yesterday? (The apt does look great now! ) ...second cup of rooibos tea? (...

Okay, is this just coincidence or could it be the Elmiron... I've been on Elmiron for seven months now. I have noticed some improvement but still have really bad frequency and can't hold much more than an ounce at a time, and especially if I'm flaring then I'll really get frequency. I've been in a flare for about two months and have tried everything to get out of it. I've tried baking soda, ...

I need to vent. So here it goes: I was flaring earlier this week and my bladder calmed down Wednesday and Thursday. Yesterday I had a slight uptick in frequency. I wake up this morning to a genuine "tears in the eyes'' raging flare with stabbing pains and horrible burning during urination. This is driving me crazy. I'm tired of feeling this way. I sure hope my Hunner's Ulcer surgery helps ...

Anyone else experiencing this? Yikes this is hard to take! Reacts much like a child, screaming shut up, flaring of fists etc. Instead of getting better this is developing more and more. Yes, he is on anti-depressants, fairly large dose. Its been some time since I have written. My husband is very mobile, realtively healthy and can do all personal things for himself. He has aphasia and ...
