Taming those flapping pant legs How are riders solving the problem of flapping pant legs on nylon riding pants, Frog Togs pants, etc.? It was never a problem on my Goldwing because the pipes were tucked up under the plastic. However, I melted a hole on the right leg of my Frog Tog pants on my 09 Road Glide when they came in ...

New house....we are hearing a lot of flapping coming from within the fans in the powder room, washrooms, laundry room and especially our OTR microwave/vent. How can we decrease the flapping or dampen the sound? Is it the result of a very floppy cover wherever air is coming into/leaving house? Thanks.

Hi everyone! I have just been watching The Picture of Dorian Gray (1975) and I noticed that the actors did flap some of the t's and d's in function words mainly. Should I trust my ears? I mean, I know British people flap the t's some times, but I had know idea about the d's. So how spread is the flapping of those sounds in the British Isles? Thanks a lot!

(DG) 12/17/2009 President Obama has crashed into the sea. The President took off to Copenhagen this evening, hoping to salvage the disastrous Global Warming Conference. To avoid creating still more pollution Obama decided, against Secret Service advice, to fly himself. He took off at 10:20 PM, flapping his ears as fast as possible. At 10:25 he radioed that his ears were icing over....

And I hear it! The moaning, chittering, flapping, and the constant moving!!! I was enjoying a good nap until I heard a hooting of pidgeons. I ignored it for about an hour but I couldn't sleep with all that nonsense. Pissed off, I put on my clothes and hunt for the source of all that ruckus. Just above the exterior of my room and in my backyard, I see a huge feathery mass ...

A vampire bat came flapping in from the night covered in fresh blood and parked himself on the roof of the cave to get some sleep. Pretty soon all the other bats smelled the blood and began hassling him about where he got it. He told them to go away and let him get some sleep but they persisted until finally he gave in. "OK, follow me" he said and flew out of the cave with hundreds of...

Popkin msnbc.com If Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg can't figure out his social networking site's privacy settings after they were ripped open earlier this month, what hope is there for the rest of us? For a brief window of time, the whole world had an opening to check out (and get screen grabs) of Zuckerberg's ...
