My buddy bought a Five Seven back in 05. He never fired it. It is the IOM version. I borrowed it from him today to shoot this weekend. He also claims to have 5 boxes of "Hard-to-find"(he says) ammo for it. I am trying to buy this pistol from him. What is a good price? What is the IOM model?

Very well made, accurate and easy to use. Ammo is plentiful, runs about $20 a box, less in bulk. As much as I like the pistol, I'm not sure I'd pay $1181. I paid a lot less, $700... my advise would be to shop around a bit for a better deal.
