I know it's probably been suggested before, but I think it would be such a great feature that I decided to bring it up again. The closest thing we have to a first-person mode right now is the close-up view, and even then it doesn't help much. It's rather hard to make out the little details on other people's avatars, especially on my relatively small 32-inch HDTV. I don't know about...

I've always thought it would be a cool feature if you could watch replays and/or observe games from the view of the players. Your camera would move as the player moved it during the match and you could see what units are being selected and orders being issued. I think this could be an interesting way to watch a pro match and give you a better understanding of what the player is thinking and ...

Guys .. I just started playing RE5 and it's kinda third person / over the shoulder view. I was wandering, if there is any way to play the game in first person view ... where you only see the cross wire (or cross wire + gun).... sorry if this topic was discussed before .... when i was playing BAP Goalie for the first time today i got to thinking if EA can do first person fighting why cant they do a First Person View. i think it would be sweet to be the goalie in BAP and actually see the game from his eyes or even a skater in BAP. i think it would be sweet..any one else have any thoughts on it

Is there something that stops game developers from giving the player the option of choosing either first person view or third person view? I get motion sickness while playing first person shooters and would love to see some of these games bust out that choice for players.

I have truly become addicted to FPS's and really find it difficult to play any other type of game. Not specifically FPS's, but even games like Oblivion feel more enjoyable in first person. If it's available for replays, there's absolutely no reason it should be unavailable for observers.
