Hi everyone. I just sold my 20 yr old AFX HO track and have taken the 1/32 plunge, (God help me!). As the title says. Im going to my first ever track day on December 19. A buddy of mine works at a local Tuning shop and they bought out the entire big track for a day. Cant wait to see how this turns out in my bone stock S. Any suggestions from the track whores for a noob?

60' 2.25 1/8 10.1@66 1/4 15.8@88 Couldn't launch hard or it would spin. Shifted 5200, 5500, and 5700...5500 netted the best mph. Kind of upset at the mph, but for a mailorder tune I guess its pretty dang close. Unfortunately I think my time is consistent with a sohc 4.0 My single cab went 15.1 before I put the supercharger on it. Time for the turbo!

Last weekend I took the S to a Keevil track day run by www.motorsport-events.co.uk It was bloody brilliant! Honestly, my cheeks were hurting from smiling so much I was really apprehensive before hand. Kept thinking, what if someone is to close when i spin, what if im to slow for other people on the track etc etc But the motorsport guys briefing at the beginning really helped ...

This was my FIRST TIME EVER racing my car @ the track. Too bad the track wasn't prepped well for street cars, b/c they were focused more on muscle cars that day. I'm reporting this stock again to the SEC until they get it. Sell thirty dollars in stock to drive it down again for a better price. This time the SEC will see it's the first trade of the day and won't be very hard to track. Sorry folks if they freeze the stock again but we have to catch this pr ick.

007, walls are used up and track size would be limited because of already in place shelving. drop down track would be a far easier and cleaner solution I think. I set up a small oval to test the distributed power pieces I built and did notice guide binding. AWESOME! I had a lot of fun and IMO ended up running fairly fast for our group but nowhere near fast enough to move up. I chased a Ninja 250 all day through the turns just to force myself to take good lines.
