I've removed an old version of a program and want the file types previously associated with it to switch to the new version of the program. But the new version of the program is not on the list of programs available for association. 1 person needs an answer I do too

I have a resume I did on microsoft works on vista and I need to change the format to upload it to any website. When I change to format to works or word 2003 or any option, It changes my resume and puts the text box in the middle of the paragraph. I don't know whats going on. Does anybody? 1 person needs an answer I do too

In our application, we have provided one link. If we click that link, it will download an excel file. This functionality is working fine in IE 6, 7 & firefox.
