Hi! I just bought a fiat punto 55 s 1998 mod ( 1,1 l ), and I'm not actually pleased with the 55 horsepowers that the car came with. Is there anybody at the forum that could please help me with advices on what I should buy to get a little more speed out of the car? Hi Guy's. I have just bought my girlfriend a fiat punto 1.2,2001, 5 door. Since buying the car I have noticed that when I put the key into the ignition,I have to give it a shake about untill the key will turn. Do you think I need a new ignition barrel and if so,is there anywhere on line I could purchase one. Thanks.

We have a nine year old Fiat Punto and have noticed with all this rain we are having the back seats are damp. Its mostly nearest the doors. There is no water anywhere else. The seals looks okay on the doors. I have googled it but everyone seems to have water in the footwell but we have no water there just on the seats. No-one has sat back there so it can not be from them. Anyone have any ideas ...

HI, new to the site so be gentle.....I am looking for a prefeably new FRONT DOWN PIPE. for my FIAT PUNTO 1.8 HGT ..MK2...it is a 2001, and i just cant find the part anywhere...so any help would be appreciated, preferably where to get it and part number if poss.......cheers steve

I have a fiat punto mk W reg 1.9 turbo diesel 110k which i have been running on my bio-diesel for about 2 years with no problem apart from a new pressure regulator which had to be fitted to the main injection pump a couple of months ago, If i run my car on pure diesel it is fine, if i run it on 50diesel /50 bio-diesel the engine just cuts out when you are driving along about twice over 30 ...

Hi thanks , vehicle is a Fiat PUNTO , 1.8 hgt, 2001 reg , and its the front down pipe that i need i believe it has 2 lambada sensors...but not sure ...cheers steve

If the barrel's worn, then the key is probably on it's way out as well. Fitting another barrel (with matching key) from another car won't work as the key won't be recognised by the immobilizer (unless you fit that car's matching engine and body computer ECU 's).

If you can pick up a good Punto 60 engine at the right price, and fit it yourself, it's probably the most economical way of tuning. Lots of stuff on this in the forum.
